Today, after living for almost 18 years,

I learned that the phrase is not “pre-Madonna”, meaning someone that is not nearly as famous as Madonna, but thinks they will be some day, so they act really arrogant because they think they’re on their way to greatness even though they probably aren’t, but rather “prima donna” an opera term meaning, literally, “first lady”, i.e. the female lead. More generally, it refers to anyone who acts entitled or craves attention.

I swear I got into college guys. I just don’t know how.
